- Financial Information: Payment history, billing details, and transactional data (via Mobile Money or Bank cards). Note: We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers; payments are processed securely via our certified third-party payment gateways.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our platform, device information, IP addresses, and standard web log data.
2. How We Use Your Information
Edlege Pay uses your data exclusively to facilitate and improve our educational financial services:
- To process transactions, school fees, canteen top-ups, and other payments securely.
- To send automated notifications, such as "Momo alerts", payment receipts, and pending fee reminders.
- To provide schools with financial analytics, settlement tracking, and administrative efficiency tools.
- To facilitate credit advances and automated loan repayments for qualifying schools.
- To maintain and secure our platform, preventing fraud and unauthorized access.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We only share information under the following circumstances:
- With Partnered Schools: Payment records and student data are securely shared with the respective educational institution to reconcile accounts.
- With Payment Processors: Necessary transaction data is shared with Mobile Money operators and banking partners to execute your payments.
- With Legal Authorities: When required by law, regulation, or legal process to protect the rights, property, or safety of Edlege Pay, our users, or others.
